Justin Hardy

Justin has a distinguished film career spanning over thirty years, creating content for major broadcasters like the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, Disney Plus, and more. His unique academic approach to filmmaking combines compelling storytelling with in-depth primary source research, earning recognition from the likes of BAFTA and the Royal Television Society.

Justin has extensive experience with academic co-productions, having successfully secured two Wellcome Trust grants to direct The Relief of Belsen and Trafalgar Battle Surgeon. Most recently he directed the feature-length documentary Children of the Wicker Man, a co-production with the University of Birmingham and L-Università ta’ Malta, which is currently enjoying a successful run on the international festival circuit and has won four awards to date.

Stevie Doran

Stevie studied BA English at Brasenose, University of Oxford. Since graduating in 2021, she has worked as a researcher for award-winning creatives across books, films and live events, and as an independent film producer.

Jon Underwood

Jon Underwood is an Editor / Motion Graphics / VFX Designer for TV and Film. After attaining Distinction for MSc Digital Media Design from Edinburgh College of Art, he now also works part time as a Tutor at Edinburgh University.

Jon has worked with Justin across 20 projects over the last 19 years.
