Justin Hardy

Justin studied history at Oxford and film at UCLA. He took a PhD in history and film at UCL in 2023. During his time at UCL, he has made around ten films for the university’s many departments, which include:

Slade School Fine Art as it turned 150 years old
Graduation film for the whole cohort of Bachelors, Master and doctoral levels
Promotional films for MA in history/MA in Public History/MA in Renaissance Studies
Promotional film for BA Creative Arts and Humanities
Research Excellence Framework film for Arts and Humanities
Short film on writing ideas by Dr Matthew Sperling (English/creative writing)

Justin’s film career spans thirty years at BBC, Channel 4, ARTE, Discovery, Disney Plus and many more. His films have been mainly focussed on history through drama, but also cover science, languages and other academic disciplines.

Stevie Doran

Stevie studied BA English at Brasenose, University of Oxford. Since graduating in 2021, she has worked as a researcher for award-winning creatives across books, films and live events, and as an independent film producer.

Jon Underwood

Jon Underwood is an Editor / Motion Graphics / VFX Designer for TV and Film. After attaining Distinction for MSc Digital Media Design from Edinburgh College of Art, he now also works part time as a Tutor at Edinburgh University.

Jon has worked with Justin across 20 projects over the last 19 years.
